Insurance and Payment Options

Helpful Information about Insurance

Some clients may have coverage under more than one insurance plan. If you have private insurance and Medical Assistance (MA) please be advised that we must be in-network with your private insurance plan in order to provide treatment. MA is payer of last resort which means this benefit cannot be utilized to cover cost of services until the private insurance benefit has been accessed. In order to access these benefits for services rendered we must be an in-network provider with your private insurance plan. Please be advised that insurance will only cover the cost of face-to-face counseling sessions with your therapist in the office.

Insurance does not cover consultation meetings, conference calls with third-parties on your behalf, or forensic services. These services require a special service agreement and a fee schedule will be provided upon request.

If you do not see your insurance plan on our list please contact us and we will assist you in verifying our inclusion in your plan’s network. If we are not in-network with your insurance plan you may contact us about Private Pay or Use of Out of Network Benefit options.

Payment Policies

  • Sliding scale may be available to individuals or families without insurance who meet specific financial criteria
  • Payment of service fees and other applicable charges is required at the time services are rendered
  • Payment options include CASH and CHECK
  • Additional services fees will be applied for services ancillary to traditional outpatient counseling services
  • Failure to pay for services rendered may result in a suspension or termination of services
